This undergraduate paper takes the position that imperialism is the highest expression of capitalism. It supports Lenin's argument to that effect. It draws upon Joseph Conrad's "The Heart of Darkness", and Anna Leonowens' The English Governess at the Court of Siam, to demonstrate the impact and method of imperialism. It concludes that imperialism is indeed the ultimate expression of thoughtless greed for greed's sake. 4 pgs. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
