This paper examines the issue of the effect of the feminist movement and the women's liberation movement on family structures. It discusses the different viewpoints of the various branches of the feminist movement and the women's liberation effort. Because of the basic nature of gender relationships in the nuclear family structure, each branch of feminism had its own perception of the family structure.
