Reincarnation and Its Growing Acceptance in Western Culture: The Significance of Reincarnation and Expansion of Modes of Thought
This paper takes the position that Western morality is suffering due to a perceived limit upon mortality. Through either secular views or the concept that the afterlife will serve as a reward, there is no incentive for the Westerner to accomplish positive moral behaviors on a regular basis. Addressing reincarnation as a lifestyle would change these modes of thinking.
