This paper is a presentation of fiscal concerns in the health care setting. The focus of the examination is dedicated to current restraints on health care budgets in hospitals, medical centers and long term care facilities. Also addressed in this paper is a changing staffing pattern as a result of high acuity on within the unit. Recommendations and possible solutions to these above referenced problems are presented in the paper.
