This paper discusses the geography of the view from the seventh floor of Saunder Hall in Hawaii, noting what can be seen, its immediate effect on the observer, and some of the meanings of such a landscape, as well as the importance of analyzing the scene and discovering the different cultural, historical, economic, and other facets of the landscape.
