This paper analyzes a case study of a landowner who has property that is about to be designation a Superfund site because of environmental damage, and he wants to avoid this and clean up the site himself, but also wants to open a garage and gasoline business on the site, build a pier on a wetlands site, and sell gas to boats, asking now what the legal issues are.
