This paper discusses the design of an MIS system for a particular company, in this case for Dashers Auto Insurance in California, showing how to analyze the information needs of the company, how to consider different types of systems that might be implemented, and what types of MIS would be most beneficial to the company, noting as well the benefits and the liabilities and a possible schedule for implementation.
